A wise Audrey Hepburn once said, “Elegance is the only
beauty that never fades away.”
Hepburn herself had a wildly-elegant charm that
almost any girl would yearn for. Here’s how to emulate the fashion, and maybe,
just maybe, emulate the attitude. With great fashion, comes great
responsibility.
These are two well-known fashions from Hepburn. While still
noticeably sophisticated, they just do not fit in with the trends of today… at
first glance. Here’s how to take these two styles and make them current and,
most importantly, add your own flair.
For the first:
Start out with our very own Paneled Black Jumpsuit.
This will add a little shape, structure, and sass to your
outfit. Stick with a simple black shoe– ballet flats, booties, or heels–
keeping with the style. Adding a top knot, and pair of dangly earrings will
complete the look. Audrey would swoon over this look.
For the second look:
We are going to go a bit edgier.
I like to think that if Audrey was in her prime today, she would be a mix of
Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian. Not the best description, but you get the
picture.
So, here is my option to mimic Audrey’s jacket style: Our Metallic Tweed Leather Jacket. It will add a little edge to a more sophisticated
dress underneath. Audrey would approve.
